01Overview
Self Attendance is an offline-first app. It has no server and no user accounts, and it does not collect, transmit, or share any of your attendance, leave, gate pass, profile, or settings data with us or any third party. The only data leaving your device is described in Advertising below, and it is handled entirely by Google AdMob, not by us.
02Data storage
All attendance, leave, gate pass, profile, and settings data you enter is stored locally on your device only, in a private app database. This app never uploads that data anywhere.
03Backups
The Backup & Restore feature lets you export or import a copy of your local database to a location you choose on your device or your own cloud storage. This is fully under your control — the app itself does not access or transmit backup files anywhere.
04Permissions
Any permissions requested — such as notifications or storage access — are used solely to provide in-app features like reminders and backups, and are never used to collect data for any external purpose.
05Advertising
Self Attendance shows ads served by Google AdMob (banner ads, and an occasional full-screen ad after saving an attendance entry) to support free use of the app.
To do this, AdMob may collect and use device identifiers such as the advertising ID, along with general technical information (such as device type and approximate location), to serve and measure ads. This applies only to ad delivery — it is separate from, and has no access to, the attendance data described in Data storage.
You can review or reset your advertising ID, and control ad personalization, from your device's Settings > Google > Ads.

06Children's privacy
Self Attendance is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. The app itself has no server or accounts and collects no personal data from any user; the Advertising section above describes the only data collection in the app, performed by Google AdMob.
07Changes to this policy
If this policy changes — for example, if a new feature changes what data is collected — the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change, and the in-app copy under More > Privacy Policy will be updated to match.
